About us

We established Mowability Lawn and Yard Care in response to a need for reliability and attention to detail with garden maintenance and cleaning. We understand that clients get irritated when service providers do the bare minimum. We ensure that we take care of your garden like it was our own. We take care of the household tasks so a "clean" is actually clean!
We have many years' experience caring for a wide range of properties from acreages to townhouses. We operate our business much like a social enterprise, ensuring we prioritise public or community benefit. On that basis we have a particular commitment to assist NDIS and My Aged Care participants with their gardening and household cleaning needs.

Our services

We understand the importance of high-quality gardening services delivered with attention to detail including mowing, hedging, edging, pruning, weeding, yard tidy and odd jobs - all of which contribute to creating pleasing and liveable outdoor spaces. We also provide domestic cleaning, rubbish removal and pressure cleaning as an additional service. Our standard rate is $75 per hour Normally, a minimum 2 hour booking applies, but negotiable depending on the nature and regularity of the job. We offer a 10% discount for pensioners and the scheduled rate for NDIS participants. Supplies such as fertilisers, mulch and chemicals are charged based on quantity or volume. Hire of special equipment is charged at cost.

Established by Nip Wijewickrema (2016 ACT Young Australian of the Year) for her little sister, Gayana with Down Syndrome. Taking the Canberra flower world by storm - the duo have employed eight people with special needs to join the team on a casual basis. Working with a talented florist, they create beautiful masterpieces for different kinds of occasions. Their specilaity is large scale events, hotels and corporate.
